It's also the home of tropical modernism: Geoffrey Bawa built an entire language out of shade, courtyards and the flow between inside and out — the same principles we work with. Building in sympathy with that tradition is exactly the appeal.

Understanding the site
Every project begins with a close reading of the site — in Sri Lanka, that means its climate, orientation, terrain, access and the particular character of the place, understood before a single line is drawn.
The better we understand the ground, the stronger every decision that follows. Nothing is designed against the site; everything responds to it.
