The Bukit is Bali's cliff country — dramatic, exposed sites at the southern tip, bought for the ocean and the view. It draws a particular client: someone who's chosen the horizon, the surf and the drama of the setting over being in the middle of things.
Building here is a response to that exposure — wind, sun and salt off the Indian Ocean — and to putting a house on limestone and steep ground without losing the view that made the site worth having.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Clifftop and slope sites are some of the best on the island, and shaping a house around the view is exactly what we design for.
Areas of work

Private Residences
Private houses designed for the climate, the site and the way you live — the core of the studio's work.

Interiors
Interior design carried through from the architecture — considered, material-led spaces, whether part of a full house or a standalone commission.

Hospitality
Boutique hospitality — villas, retreats and small resorts. An area the studio is actively growing, bringing the care of a private house to guest experience.
Process
Understanding the site
Every project begins with a close reading of the site — in Uluwatu, that means its climate, orientation, terrain, access and the particular character of the place, understood before a single line is drawn.
The better we understand the ground, the stronger every decision that follows. Nothing is designed against the site; everything responds to it.
